Pueblo Escondido
An abandoned mining village, reached by a suspension footbridge.
Two hours of golden grassland to the lookout, then the descent to the village, between the trees and the river.
From the air
The track that winds down to the village.
Paso Malo
A granite canyon with clear rock pools and a quincho at the water's edge.
You get there on horseback or by pickup. Lunch looking over the river, a nap in the hammocks, and back whenever the group is ready.
